Black Widow served Wong-Chu, and Wong-Chu was serving The Mandarin. That makes Black Widow a minion of The Mandarin. Hopefully once they retcon in the rivalry between Shang-Chi and The Mandarin, Shang will want to have words with her.

In this case, she delivered Ho Yinsen to Wong-Chu because she was following orders from Russia to do so.

Also, Mark Waid probably forgot that Ho Yinsen was killed in Afghanistan instead of Vietnam as part of the Extremis retcon plotline.

So, in the new timeline, Wong-Chu might have been a go-between instead of a sponsor...

Also, in the new timeline, contrary to the MCU, it has not been confirmed yet that Ten Rings were truly responsible for the kidnapping of Tony Stark in Afghanistan.

(Matt Fraction only implied that Raza was more or less involved instead of Wong-Chu...)

Actually, as weird as it seems, the writers have not even confirmed yet that Ten Rings work for the Mandarin... (-_-')

So far, on Earth-616, it seems that they migh work for the Cult of the Dragon's Breath.
