I don't think Grundy would currently be considered an immortal because he's more or less undead, he keeps getting "killed" and he regenerates each time with a slightly different personality. He wants to become immortal in his current form so he can keep his current level of intelligence.

This understanding of immortality in terms of the "JLA 13" would of course eliminate The Immortal Man/Immortal Girl/Resurrection Man as well as Multi-Man from consideration.
