Got to say that I chortled along while reading this review.

Two things to point out:

1 - "Unless, of course, Chaykin meant for Clark Kent to write like a third grader, opposed to the award-winning journalist he is. If that was the case, good work, Howard!"

While not even close to believing that I am (or possibly ever could be) a 'professional' writer, I have to admit that if I tried to write a story about conceptual physics from Einstein's point of view I would end up writing it with only a mediocre understanding/knowledge of physics; looks like CHaykin had a 'similar' problem.

2 - "Things get even worse when you start to actually look at the letters, too. See those little symbols where the apostrophes are supposed to be? Those aren't apostrophes, but denotations of measurements (in this case, feet). See the difference:

It is a common mistake, but not one that should be made in professional publications. Photoshop doesn't automatically change them for you. The letterer has to put a little work into it. It's a pain in the ass, sure. But, they call it work for a reason, folks!"

To play Devil's Advocate here (and I am sure that by now you have noticed that I too have used the ' symbol repeatedly) most people, when writing by hand or using a modern keyboard, make the same 'mistake'. This is further compounded by the fact that the actual apostrophe symbol does't appear as it is meant to (the numner 9 look rather than the slanty line look) on it.

Anyway, like I said, loved the review!
