I have read the first 6 issues of the new JLA. It is tough to judge this book as we have yet to see the whole team get together and interact as they all didn't meet until the end. But one event in this book bothers me. Batman has always been a master of psychological warfare in the older JLA books (especially in the morisson run). Amazo was unsure if he was Amazo or Red Tornado. batman should have been manipulating his confused psychological state the same way he tried in earlier JLA issues (like when he tried convincing that general in the shaggy mans body to sleep). It seemed a bit unlike batman not to use amazo's confusion against him.

Is it possible to psych out a robot?
