You and me both on this one. I didn't realize for the longest time that the "Comedian" in Watchmen was supposed to be Peacemaker because I didn't get the slur that somehow because Peacemaker had "Peace" in his name he was somehow a hypocrite for using military methods to quell disturbances. The cop analogy is well taken. :-/

Of all the transformations that the Charlton Action Heroes have suffered at DC, the changes made to Peacemaker are the most hurtful.
