I am loving the current JLA. I enjoyed Tornado's path and The Lightning Saga has to be one of the most surprising stories in a long long time.

I am however disappointed in the news that the line up may change again. It's taken many issues for the lineup to actually come together. So I was hopping for at least a few story arcs with the new team...

In the past i enjoyed the League when it had 15 members

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Atom, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Red Tornado, Elongated Man, Aquaman, Zatanna and Firestorm.

Every leaguer didn't appear in every story, infact some only appeared now and again

so why is the new league considered too big?

SM, WW, BM, BC, RA, HG, V, BL, RT, GF, - Its 5 short of the original league....

Any thoughts anyone?

I don't think the "original" league was that big. At most you had Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman along with Snapper Carr. Now my favorite league was indeed a big group during the Satellite years, so I'm comfortable with a large group personally.

I'm a bit surprised if not startled that DC is moving away from Metzler's League, but I didn't expect it to be so startling and so quick. Metzler seems to have picked out his Leaguers purely because these were the toys he always wanted on the team. That's cool, but I don't expect the next guy to keep all of the toys. But that the change is so brisk is a bit surprising.
