Worth pointing out... Hal did participate in the CRISIS... just not in the mini itself. What was going on in GL at the time was almost as important to understanding the true impact of the Anti-Monitor's plans as the Swamp Thing title was to understanding how it affected realms that weren't just alternate Earths. Hal clawed his way out of powerlessness, made it to Oa, got a ring from a renegade Guardian and stood alone against all of his major villains except for Sinestro led by Guy Gardner to keep them from accidentally DOUBLING the Anti-Monitor's power. It's my favorite Hal story, honestly, and it deserves to be remembered. Now, how does all this impacts his seeing Barry dying? Well, he DID see that image in GL #200, after the CRISIS... but it was a mental illusion cast by Hector Hammond, who had used his powers to learn what Batman and others had seen of Barry during the CRISIS and used it to play with Hal's mind. Since we've got a sneaky, illusion-casting villain reintroduced in this story, that might play a role. ![]() TJB | |||||||
