So my question is that i thought that this was the new Aquaman because of the costume design but he was talking like he was the old Aquaman. I thought Orin was all squid like and was the Dweller of the deep or something? Some one fill me in if i missed something.

Would it be his fault or the artist for drawing the wrong aquaman?

The dialog made it clearly a character who was mutated and then killed. It looked like the artist tried to draw it as Artie JR but with so little of the character shown. Maybe it wasn't a mistake tho'. Maybe the big cliffhanger is 'how long has Martian Manhunter been so inasane he talks to dead people who aren't there'.
