Were you a fan of the Silver Age JLA, in the mountain-side cave HQ? A satellite-era fan? Detroit League? Justice League Europe? Max Lord League of America? Superman League of America? Morrison League of America?

I go with the Satellite Era, mostly. As I posted in another thread below, it screamed "Justice League of America" to me. It usually affored "lesser-lights" like Aquaman, Atom, and Hawkman their share of the spotlight without ignoring Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Batman.

The stories were mostly cosmic in scope, with the League travelling to other worlds, and taking on foes who were too big to battle alone.

Satellite Era all the way but I'll also always have a soft spot in my heart for the Detroit League. I thought it was just finding its footing when the plug was pulled. JLI was fun for a little bit but I stopped buying long before the end and with the Morrison run, well, I just have never gotten Morrison's standard super-hero fare. I thought his Animal Man and Doom Patrol were amazing but everything since just leaves me cold. This new JLA is cool because it has the Satellite flavor. I just wish there had been some actual stories to go with that.
