> Satellite Era all the way but I'll also always have a soft spot in my heart for the Detroit League. I thought it was just finding its footing when the plug was pulled. JLI was fun for a little bit but I stopped buying long before the end and with the Morrison run, well, I just have never gotten Morrison's standard super-hero fare. I thought his Animal Man and Doom Patrol were amazing but everything since just leaves me cold. This new JLA is cool because it has the Satellite flavor. I just wish there had been some actual stories to go with that. I think I kind'a liked the premise they were going for RIGHT before the Detroit League came into being, when they were going to ease out Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Green Lantern and just say those four were "busy" on other cases in their own books and couldn't appear in the JLA book. I think they were planning to have each make appearances from time to time, but their involvement was going to be quite limited. If they'd done THAT, and slowly brought in a COUPLE of the Detroit Leaguers in, I think more fans would've been accepting of the change. I know I would've been! ![]() Gernot... *The Justice League Of America Board *The Cartoon Board My MySpace My YouTube Channel My Yahoo Clubs!
