Sometimes it's better to just enjoy something without knowing the thought process behind the scenes. I watched the Justice Lord episodes on my nifty Justice League cartoon on DVD. The commentary said it was originally supposed to be the Crime Syndicate. And they changed it.

The mileage they obtained from the story was responsible for the entire Cadmus storyline. By all means I enjoyed everything that spawned from the Justice Lords but man, to see the Crime Syndicate and their entire evil world..well..the chance has come and gone.No Owlman, Ultraman, Superwoman,etc..Geez....what could have been.

Does this bother anyone else?

I mean we could have finally seen more evil versions of the League.

I've been a fan of the Syndicate since JLA #207 in 1982.

My favorite Superfriends episode was the one with the evil League pulling down a dam and trying to capture Superman at the volcano.

So I've been waiting for a chance to see them for a long time.

Did they say why?
