...Meltzer did a really good job. Maybe a bit anti-climactic (as all of his comics have been so far), but well-written with good adventure and good characterization.
MacDuffie on the other hand... I'm not sure I can even call his work "stories". Things just happen and don't make sense. This may be the worst JLA since the mid 90s or so. And that's saying a lot.
For starters, Meltzer did an excellent job on Identity Crisis. But then he does JLA and I say what happened there? His JLA run was not that great. I liked it but I think the artwork was helping it. I think Mc Duffie saved the book. I really am enjoying his run. With his experience on JLU (which is the best show ever made), I think that he will give us some great stuff to come. And not since Morrison, have I enjoyed and looked forward to the book now that Mc Duffie is on board.
