In the comic Faraday died helping Martian Manhunter.

The guy who jumped into a T-Rex's mouth was Johnny Cloud.

They changed it from the comic book. They had to take out the "Losers" in the beginning of the story, so they gave King Faraday the final jump into the Dinosaur's Mouth.

I'm soooo glad they kept a version of that scene. If you watch this show, you'll be happy that they kept it in the story.
