> ok, slap me around some...I just found the original post describing the Trivia contest. I get it now. I just assumed the Awards were random. I so need to go to bed. But first, the Certificates do bring up a question I've long had... When they rebooted JLA this time around, they made it a big point to do the whole PG invite...um, duh, ok, on one hand I get that it;s an honor to be asked to join the current line-up, but it's also a bit redundant to me since once you become a member, aren't ya always a meber, hence the certificate, or is it not overly valid since PG was post-Satelite Era, but I would think that once a member always a member, even if reserve, would still be par for course, kinda like Titans? Or am I just putting too much thought into this? > > I've got NO idea how these memberships go. I found these on-line, and thought, "Hey! These are kind'a NIFTY!" This was a few months before I even became moderator after Scott. The only place I've seen anything detailing membership at all was in an old issue of Amazing World Of DC Comics. The issue to which I refer came out circa 1978, so it wouldn't have dealt with anything more recent than the Satellite Era. How it works out now is ANYBODY'S guess. I do remember seeing them in teh actual JLA comics during the Satellite years...specifically Zatanna's after she did her search for her father, I believe because she had on that horrid sorceress outfit (not the bug one, but the one piece leotard thing and severe ponytail..I call it the Dark Z outfit). I believe I remember Reddie's also. They would put it at the bottom of the last page, if memory serves.
I guess part of my confusion is because I'm not real sure what exactly league history is now. I feel as though the last few Crises have just made a butchery of the DC Universe, thus making a bad thing even worse.
