No, no it didn't. That version of the League wasn't everyone's cup of tea, granted. But some of us truly enjoyed the Giffen League, and even for those who didn't like it the critique was never presence or lack of Supes.

Now, if you are ripping the JLDetroit, that might be something different........

My JLA has always been Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Atom and Aquaman.
I am an old school reader from the late 60s.

Any lineup that failed to produce the big guns really wasn't the Justice League to me. Just another team of heroes using the JLA name.
Sure it sold books but I like my coffee a certain way.
