I really wish they hadn't killed Lian. That pushed things too far, in real-world and storyline terms. I can understand that being the breaking point for Ollie, and it's gonna be a rough scene when Roy wakes up.

I can't really support or root for Ollie though, and I can't see any League members doing that fully either. Friendship and loyalty aside, Ollie's always been a bastard, and they'll all grudgingly admit it (the Black Lantern issue of his series pretty much sums this up).


This entire storyline is the sort of thing that annoys me to no end, killing off major supporting players like Lian, destroying major settings like Star City, and damaging long-term properties like the entire Arrow family. Robinson at his worst, like the old Starman JLE issue was.

That said, this is the first time in my DC reading career I've EVER agreed with Oliver Queen. (I've not read the Grell era, which I'm told is close to this, so, YMMV)
