Very bland imo

What do others think

I agree with you, very BLAND.

There wasn't any mention of a Justice League and as common day typical writing goes, hero's are fighting one another instead of villains.

In all honesty, DC should have lead the way with Superman, since this one character was the biggest and most well known of all of the characters. They should have debuted Action Comics or Superman first.
If they were going to do anything wiuth the JLA, they should have done an 80 page book, given readers a full story and then a hint of things to come, instead of the same old thing, a few bread crumbs!

On another note, the SPECTACULAR line of new comic book readers and enthusiast were so long, they were completely NO-EXISTANT!!! The local retailer i go to said only one customer had come in and wanted to buy all 52 #1's. He also explained about the "promotional" oppotunities DC was trying to sell, but sounded more like they wanted him to buy a "pig-n-poke"!

If Justice League is a sample of what is to come, then DC shot themselves in the foot. They might just as well turn these characters over to Marvel or to some other company who not only knows how to write, has creativity and doesn't hit the chicken switch and reboot at every opportunity.

Of course, i'm being opoen minded about all of this. I'll try and see what else they have coming out. Otherwise, i am not impressed.
