40 years? So you didn't quit during the first Crisis but you're quitting now?

Yup. First Crisis was extremely well done - Crisis on Infinite Earths was Infinitely better than Flashpoint. It was epic. Also, the resulting DCU brought all characters together in a way that enabled crossovers without being contrived like the preceeding JLA/JSA annual events. I thought the Byrne Superman reboot was also well done. Maybe its a paradox, but I gave up on Spiderman after its reboot too, precisely because the stories preceeding it were so good. I can't think of anything so wrong with the DCU that deserved rebooting. World of Krypton was an excellent spin on Superman, Green Lantern was hitting its stride, especially with Blackest Night, and other powerful stories.
