And Batman as leader is fine by me.
I was just unclear at what point he started gravitating to this position is all... When I think back to the original JLA series the leadership role was always a bit vague, I don't remember it being like the Legion where they had regular elections and a clear role. I'd hazard a guess Batman's ascendance began around the #180's culminating in his split to form and lead the Outsiders but to be fair the JLA's membership at the time did fluctuate a bit, he wasn't often around for it.
