Oooh... A dystopian future! I haven't seen THAT since oh, 3 PM! ;\)

I have made no secret in the past that I greatly admire Keith Giffen's talent for plotting and in creating fully realised new worlds, but statistically this Justice League book does not have good prospects.
It has supplanted the traditional place of the 30th century as home of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Giffen's other recent books have had a torrid time saleswise with what should have been safe bets in Larfleeze and Threshold being tied to the Green Lantern franchise now either cancelled (a mere eight issues for Threshold) or having dropped off a sales cliff (Larfleeze). Giffen's other project, Masters of the Universe, is also with lowering sales and the fact it has 'Justice League' in the title means absolutely nothing in the scheme of things as this book has only tangential connections to the League and its line-up.

An additional point comes in the form of this months issue of Superboy, which I understand directly name checks the Legion and links Superboy to them! What on earth... \(fear\)
