I actually went the other way with this issue, and gave it a full rating. Why? I was happy to see this long delayed storyline come to fruition, and it also reminds how transient the N52 universe actually is. Johns' set-up of constant war, is basically filler for the wait to the story he's been waiting to tell, which is what was delivered here.

The editorial at DC in this milieu is horrible. Is obvious that acts such as N52, Convergence, and even The Darkseid War have been either placed on on hold or foisted on readers, simply because of the move to Burbank, and the need to stimulate sales. Say what you will about Marvel, but their planning makes DC looks like an infant struggling to make in his nappy.

Now, off to Future Imperfect!
