The dialogue is awkward and the story not well-paced nor original in the slightest. Bordering on amateurish.

Hitch's art. . .as another commentor said, it hasn't been as excellent since Ultimates 2 for some reason.

Also, Superman's belt keeps driving me nuts. What is that "T" on the belt buckle?

GRADE: C-

Seems like he got some writing lessons from his buddy Millar. Supes walking into that pile of dead and dieing supermen and having a "hmm" reaction was really difficult to swallow. And Barry running into the Parasite fight like it was his first day on the job wasn't too engaging. It's easy to make it a challenge when the characters act like fools. It's an artform to inject scenarios where the most competent of characters are challenged.

Hitch's figure work always lets me down.. the poses seem forced and awkward. Was Diana doing a Flash impersonation with her sword out in that big splash? I have to admit Parasite looked pretty fun and dynamic and was probably the high point of the book, those panels were fun enough to look at that they made me forget a lot of the shortcomings of the book.
