Nicely done . . .for Cliff's Notes. \(yes\)

It's what happens when you're frazzled. Have no time, no concentration, so you read the book on a friday, start writing up your impressions in your head, friday rolls into Saturday, Saturday into Sunday, then it's Monday... back to work, no time, Frazzled. Repeat and rinse.

Excepting some diragreeable characterisation in his first issue Hitch's JLA is proving as fine a tribute to the classic series as any that have appeared in the years since the Crisis. The membership is heroic, professional, and functions as a team, The villain of the piece is a suspicious visitor to earth, members are split up and head off on brief excursions branching from the main plot... the finished effect is so familiar I can imagine this story with Dick Dillin's layouts. It wouldn't be out of place in the 1970s era of the League, amidst the similar arrivals of the likes of Nekron, Starbreaker, or Despero.
