This spinoff issue is VASTLY superior than the main arc.

Johns story thus far has been "confusing and cold" and something the reader views from a distance with great detachment.

This Batman issue was excellent; just a really enjoyable and well-structured comic book. It was nothing revolutionary, just a clever spin on the classic Bruce Wayne reveals himself to Joe Chill story.

But the writing was good, the art excellent (Pasarin is as good as Fabook, IMO), and very nice cliff-hanger.

Recommended and hopefully the other spinoffs are this satisfying.

I found it prosaic. Metron's knowledge at Batman's disposal, and he's extremely petty about its usage. Batman's treatment of Joe Chill may seem just, but he's every bit the monster that Chill was for him; a bully abusing his power, over a man who is all ready incarcerated. The Minority Report angle was ridiculous.

Is there a moral line that Batman hasn't crossed, is the question this book brings to mind. He does things here you would expect from a villain, not a hero, but, then again, Batman has crept into super-villain status long before now.
