Going Thursday night, will report. Given I liked BvS and MoS but the complaints people had I get, just don't agree. CGI Doomsday was my biggest problem with BvS and it looks like Steppenwolf might be another Doomsday/Aries.

UPDATE: Hmm, reviews are coming out. Sounds pretty middle of the road for the masses. Better than BvS, not WW level. then again they are mocking the silly premise of Steppenwolf and 'Mother Boxes: an obvious rip off of the power stones from the Marvel Universe' so some folks don't realize these have been around LONGER than infinity gauntlets \:\)

It is the same as this being considered the DCU version of the Avengers. Just the advantage of getting the movies out first and doing a good job at it.

I imagine that this movie will make a fair bit of money, most the DC movies do, but it very well could fall into the trap of other DC films. Makes money but not as much as was hoped for.

There was an article (sorry, can't find it) saying WB had done so well this year that expectations/requirements for the pay out on JL is heavily reduced. So less than a billion won't really tarnish the franchise now as much as it would if they weren't having such a good year.
