I get that he was somewhat inconsistent, but I thought Porter was an inspired choice for the 90s JLA rebirth. Perfect match for Morrison's "widescreen" approach.
His angular art was unique; modern certainly, but classic enough. And definitely not some Image-y Jim Lee copycat.
At the time, it made it seem far more relevant than Perez Avengers (which was phenomenal, by the way).
So despite his inconsistencies, I look back on the Porter JLA as visually excellent!

I absolutely despised Porter and Dell on Morrison's JLA. Just awful garbage.
