So that leaves Sand (too old?), Hawkman, Damage, new Commander Steel, Wildcat Jr. (too young?), Dr. Midnight, Mr. Terrific, and Starman. Which of these gentlemen? I'm guessing maybe Commander Steel.

> > I'm not sure that means anything. Being possessed by Lust, Karen would try to inspire lust in heterosexual men through her wiles, not heterosexual women.
> > The reason I think it would be interesting if Karen turned out to be bi or a lesbian is that she was introduced in an era when feminism was still relatively new as a political force. It was clear writers writing her were influenced in this regard. As a character, she was made distinct by her no-nonsense attitude and a fierce competitiveness toward men. She also had a very close relationship to Earth-2 Huntress. She's also always sported a relatively butch hairdo compared to other female superheroes. Maybe making her gay would be too stereotypical, but if any character has developed along those lines throughout their history, it's Power Girl. Homosexuality would have been completely taboo in comics in the 70s, but is much more acceptable now.
> What does being a feminist have to do with being a lesbian?
Not necessarily anything, but the two have been intertwined throughout much of their history. Read...
> Having read those early issues when they came out I saw no indication that the writers were implying any link between the two (Feminist and Lesbians).
No, but as I wrote above, lesbianism would have been completely taboo in comics, which were geared much more toward children, at that time.
> All I've ever seen is a strong independent women who refused to be treated as a second class citizen by the male dominated world around her.
Thus embodying strong feminist principles.
> How is her hair style butch? She has been drawn with both long and short hair , the short hair is actually more practical in her line of work.
It's only butch relatively speaking. There aren't that many superhero females out there who sport short hair.
> In my eyes,Power girl suddenly being outed as either gay or bisexual would be a betrayal of what the character stands for.
Betrayal of what exactly?
> > In my eyes,Power girl suddenly being outed as either gay or bisexual would be a betrayal of what the character stands for.

Her history, maybe?
As it was already stated, when she was possessed by Lust, she only went after guys. It would be pretty unbelievable to out her as a lesbian now.
Of course, they did it with Montoya, so who knows?
