Such a question would be best asked at the Aquaman Message Board.

When Magic went haywire so did Tempest's Powers and abilities. Also what happened to Orin/Arthur. As for answers we have to wait and see.

So stupid an idea.

Garth's ability to breathe under water was as natural for him as a surface dweller's ability to breathe air with their lungs.

Now it's being connected to his later-developed abilities?

What, did other people similarly affected suddenly become unable to breathe air?
