began in late 2006? How the current writing team? What do you think of the art? Where is a good place (issue) to jump in?

One last question. Can someone tell me how JSA differs from JLA?

Thanks very much.

The new stuff IMO was not as good as it was before the relaunch. That doesn't make it bad it just suffered for being forced to be a part of the JLA Legion arc. I think this current issue is a terrific place to jump onto the book. It is a self contained story that will be the starting point for more to come.

For one they are much cooler ;-D But seriously they are the golden age team that started it all really. The JSA was around during WW2 as it was created in 1940. It predates the JLA by 20 years. A good deal of the same characters have been on both teams but many of them are different versions of the same characters like Jay Garrik as the JSA Flash versus Barry Allen as the Silver Age JLA Flash. Check out Wikipedia for a pretty good write up on them.
