Liberty Belle came in and talked Damage down, allowing Zoom to get away from Damage and throw something at him at super speed. Liberty Belle overcame a mental block on her speed powers, and saved Damage.

That's certainly true, but you have to take into consideration that, even if Jesse had overcome her mental block, it would have meant NOTHING if Wally hadn't returned (bringing the Speed Force with him).

The mental block played a part, to be sure, but we have to be careful not to overplay it's significance.

Cheers.

James.

True, but Jesse's problems were never speed force related in the first place. The Speed Force went and came back during her crisis of confidence and the subsequent powerloss she experienced. And she had to overcome her problem in order to regain her power.

Otherwise, the loss of the Speed Force merely meant that she like the other speeders would have lost her speed and regained it automatically the moment it returned, which did not happen, nor was the point of that issue.
