I don't remember it, but someone at the Baltimore ComiCon asked about Hawkman, and DiDio wanted to reply but was cut off by Bob Wayne. Maybe that's a good sign. Let's not forget that he's apparently taking part in Final Crisis, so he won't stay off the radar for long. > > > I hope DC goes back to the original, simple origin - a cop from spacefaring Thanagar that came to Earth in pursuit of a crook and decided to stay out of a desire to learn more about our planet. It's a nice contrast with Clark and J'Onn who don't have a world to go back to. And the whole concept can be explained in a single sentence. > > I have always thought the character of Hawkman to be a cool one. In my opinion DC needs to have an origin for him and stick to it whether that be Alien cop, perpetual reincarnate, or Hawk Avatar. I can understand a story and a character evolving and changing over time but I think they went with too many things too soon. I am not opposed to a character's origin changing or being added to in time but three changes in 10 years or so is too much. Thats my my 2 cents. | |||||||
