Nothing to say, really, except the following: If you're not enjoying a title, you're doing the right thing by dropping it. Don't support anything out of just mere "loyalty" if you're not satisfied by it. Comics have become an expensive hobby and you should only spend your money on those that really meet your expectations for entertainment.
You're good on your way. I dropped all DC and Marvel titles at this point with the only exception of Green Lantern which I will keep reading till issue #25, which features the end of the Sinestro Corps saga. After that, I'll keep only reading all those Indy titles I already subscribed. I'm having a blast with these!

"Ladies and gentlemen! You've read about it in the newspapers! Now, shudder as you observe, before your very eyes, that most rare and tragic of nature's mistakes! I give you... the average man!"
(by Joker, from The Killing Joke).

If the other universe were wiped out, isn't it possible that the KC Superman was sucked out of his universe, his earth 22, as a result of random events in Inifinite Crisis and not because of Starman?

I loved Kingdom Come. I agree that this arc undoes what KC Superman was trying to do to restore humanity in his own world. I am curious to see what Ross and Johns are coming up with besides just random superhero violence. Cencepts and ideas. I mean, just look at Dr. Mid Nite, they're already trying to make him into the KC version with the smoke powers.

Writers like Kruger, Millar, Johns and Ross are the main reason I would ever pick up another comic ever again.
