Sorry but the direction they've taken with Black Adam in 52 and now his mini are indicative of all that's wrong with DC right now. Too dark, too disturbing, and too much shock value blood and gore. I thumbed through the mini at the shop and regret having some of those panels in my brain. It's even spoiled me on sampling anything the writer does in the future.

I have not read any of these issues. Could someone give me a synopsis of the plot? Just curious are they as bad as early Image Spawn issues (a good example of style over substance). I am wondering what the plot is supposed to be in Black Adam: The Dark Age??
