> JSA:Our Worlds at War introduced the concept of the JSA Auxiliary. The group included 14 or 15 characters that were "legacies" of the JSA's WWII allies. Were any of those characters ever shown as having actually met any of the JSA before this issue? Obviously Pat Dugan (STRIPE)and The Shining Knight were old allies, but how about the rest? I think it's strange that whoever wrote that issue intruduces all of these allies of the JSA out of the blue, and most are never shown working with the team before or since.

I think that was more of an attempt to review the All Star Squadron concept with the JSA being once faction of a larger group. Iron Munro and the senior members of the Freedom Fighters had teamed up with the JSA before.

I know this will brand me as hopelessly geeky, but the compression of the JSA with the A*S is one of my pet peeves.
