Well...there is already an Infinity Inc title...starring Steel and some of the surviving Everyman project subjects...

But we were told that it was going to be a large cast at the beginning, and that it would rotate...

I like Johns, and think he has a plan...we just need to enjoy the story now and be patient for where it leads.

I disagree. Just because we were told it was going to be a big cast doesn't let Johns off the hook if people don't think the execution works. And in this day and age of decompressed storytelling and the price points of comics, I find my patience is far shorter. Writers need to realize they are still writing comics that are monthly and not direct to trades. The stories need to have the proper pacing for both.

It was actually the announcement that it would be a large cast that made me have doubts in the beginning. Johns does some good stuff in the small personal stories. I loved STARS AND S.T.R.I.P.E.S and thought his Hawkman was often very good for what it was. But, I have felt that his work on the JSA and the Avengers never found their focus, characters tended to be only used as plot devices, shuffled off when their particular plot played out.
