> > Actually, I'd like to say the perisphere never got tore down on DC earth and the, in modern times, we still have an All-Star Squadron (only now, the children and grandchildren of the originals are there carrying on a family tradition). DC had DIAL "H" FOR HERO, so maybe Golden Age fans would like a crack at creating the offspring and grandchildren of the All-Stars and send in their results. It could be a ton of fun, with the right creative team enthusiastically coordinating this fan-driven effort. ALL-STAR SQUADRON was always a much-beloved book,IMHO.
> That would be great to see BUT alas it seems that on this earth 2 there is a group of legacy characters that have sprung from their version of the Justice Society adn that being Infinity Inc.
Well, anything's possible now with 52 worlds to play with, including the mainstream one.
> Personally there doesn't seem to be many of the All Star Squadron that would have kids but we can wonder.
Actually, when you factor in the very real possibility of illegitimate kids down through the decades, you could have a plethora of new All-Stars to play around with. "Iron" Munroe was a randy guy in the 40's: who knows who many super-kids he sired, perhaps even some with beautiful amazons Hippolyta introduced him too.
Flash and that pretty redheaded scientist from the 40's, Dr. Maria Flura, could have had a secret lovechild (Speed Lord).
Hourman might have other children out there. Atom/Al Pratt might have a hard-drinking Irish son from a Maureen O'Hara type he once dated who inherited his strength and love of adventure, calling himself "Little Hercules". He'd be a fun character, out to have a good time and stomp some bad guys. Pure conceptual characters, like the Golden Age:fun instead of all glum.
Dr. Occult could have offspring. So could Wing, Crimson Avenger, Phantom of the Fair, and both Manhunters (many times over from multiple women over the decades, given their wandering ways).
T.N.T. could have sired a son (T.N.T. was Tex Thompson, so his son can be call himself Texas T.N.T. and operate in Central Texas mainly with his hot Chinese girlfriend,Babe, the granddaughter of Stuff).
Shining Knight and Firebrand could have a number of offspring. I once created one called the Fiery Knight. Do you have one in mind?
> My ideas would be:
> Earth 2 Jessie Quick - A Son to Johnny Quick & Liberty Belle
> A Child for Firebrand 2 & Shining Knight
> Earth 2 version of Courtney Whitmore under another codename
> Starman's Son's
> Earth 2 Gimmix - jacqueline Pemberton, Star Spangled Kids Neice
Got a scan?
> Earth 2 - The Whip 2 - Shelley Gaynor Grand Daughter of the Original
Got a scan?
> A Son for Black Canary 1
> Earth 2 Speedy as the Earth 2 Green Arrow
Lot's of potential.
> A Child for Joan Dale, Miss America
I'd like to use Magno, Neon the Unknown, Red Bee, Invisible Hood, and Red Torpedo too.
> A Child for Phantom lady
> A Generational Legacy of Tarantula's
> Maybe An offspring for either TNT or Dynamite
All sorts of ideas spring to mind.
> Maybe an Offspring for the Golden Age Aquaman
Aquababy grows up?
> Maybe an Offspring for the Golden Age Plasticman
I always thought Bouncing Boy should be a descendant of Plas.
> An Offspring for Doll man & Doll Girl
> A legacy Character for the Black Condor (Maybe tie it in to the male child of Black Canary)
> Earth 2's sandy the Golden Boy
Lot's of potential there.
> Amazing Mans Offspring
Doesn't he have a son wearing his costume now that popped up in Justice League many years ago?
> Commander Steels Offspring
How many kids and grandkids does Commander Steel have, anyway? I lost count.
> Jonni Thunder who could actually be a neice of Johnny Thunder, her father was a James thunder who could have been one of Johnny's Six Brothers.
> If any one could either think of some more or maybe flesh my suggestions out that would be cool.
> Bogo Out
> I will think of some more soon. So Except for fleshing them out there is a basis for an offshoot of the All Star Squadron on the new earth 2 a few slight kinks to the norm but it could be workable.
