From what has been said in recent issues this is the same Gog that battled Superman in his titles not that long ago.

She use to run her own company in her Kara Starr identity back in the old JLA/JLE/JLI days but I don't think that has been referenced since her joining JSA so I think she is a full time super hero now. I could be wrong thou, it has happened once before!!! Hope I helped you in some way.

Gog is the Gog who appearead in "The Wrath Of Gog" and "In The Name Of Gog" by Chuck Austen and Ivan Reis. Back in "Our Worlds At War", Kansas was hit hard and Gog's family was wiped out. He blamed Superman for failing to prevent the destruction. It's not that good of a storyline, but Johns has worked the character into a much richer character than previously.
