Alan's manifested that armor before in Virtue & Vice, and Obsidian's definitely still our Todd since (a) he's already had that design used in previous issue, and (b) the Earth 22 Obsidian wore a trenchcoat & fedora (a la The Shadow) and of course, died at the end of the story.

Well I thought it was the KC Green Lantern and Obsidian. I figured the two of them came to bring the KC Superman back.

Finding out that I was wrong, I'm kinda disappointed. The whole purpose of that last page was to be a big reveal, and it wasn't. Alan Scott just got beat up by Gog a few pages ago, and now we are suppose to be excited because now GL is serious by putting on the armor and taunting Gog? And we are suppose to believe that a character that just beat the whole JSA including KC Superman is going to be beat by GL and Obsidian? That's just bad writing. I feel a little cheated.

Alan Scott is prepared for what he's dealing with this time around. He's also one of--if not the--most powerful members of the JSA. Team him up with his son, who apparently wasn't around for round one with Gog, and you've got a Gog-whuppin' coming. I'd like to also point out that Obsidian has given the whole JSA a run for their money when he was a bad guy. This should be a great fight. Especially when some of the other members get back up and help out. Here's hoping Sand's alright and can come back for some revenge, too.
