Yeah, I gave up the book long ago, but that doesn't mean I didn't leaf through it hopefully for months after. What I saw was so discouraging I even go over that.

But I gotta point out what was my favorite Classified storyline: Green Lantern vs. Vandal Savage. It was terrific and really made me think for the first time just what a viable character Alan Scott can still be for a solo book. I realize it probably won't happen, but it did wow me.

R.I.P. JSA Classified...a shame you didn't live up to your potential. What were you thinking DC?

I have to disagree, the ending of that story made the entire thing suck for me. Everything up until the end was great but the final cheat was just too much and not fair to the readers in my opinion. I like the charcter of Vandal Savage a lot and the concept of having a supposed immortal die was pretty cool. After all that build up though (and like many JSA Classified stories it was easily at least one issue longer than it needed to be) it was just a slap in the face that Savage pulls out at the last minute and surives. They needed an incredibly strong ending to pull that off properly and they weren't even close.
