| > True but Solomon Grundy is a special case and cannot actually be killed since he keeps coming back. I believe the issue of GL Corps where Alan Scott and Jade use there rings to essintially dehydrate Solomon Grundy to the point of turning him back in to swamp waste was after the Skyman murder. The issue of JSA where JJ Thunder has the Thunderbolt fry Grundy from the inside out, effectively "killing" him in as close a way as he could be killed DID follow Skyman. That was the issue Grundy claimed to have been in complete control at the time and to have willingly murdered him.|
Effectively, though, either of those accomplishes nothing more than hitting your standard villain would do. The GLs, at least, seemed to have some sympathy for Grundy in Starman, even though he killed Skyman. (At any rate, the retcon that he was in complete control wasn't for years after that story.)

Me either, really, although even without it, I can feel sympathy for Bizzaro because he's so clearly out of his mind.
I still say that the heroes in this mini didn't have any effective way to deal with Bizzaro other than to blast him back home. Even turning him over to the Green Lantern Corps who maybe COULD have contained him, would have ruined Adam's plan, and, as such, endangered millions of lives.
