Reply Subj: The problem with Power Girl is that . . .

...she dresses as if she was an easy going, light-hearted, woman with whom it is easy to flirt and have a laugh together, when actually she isn't. She's the complete opposite of that. Her costume doesn't match her personality at all, which leads me to think that either she's wrongly designed, or she's just badly written.

Or maybe her costume reveals a side of her personality that she keeps private. It's easy to dismiss something as bad writing, but it's a little unfair, too.

As for her look, I say keep it exactly as it is. If you can believe that a woman can fly and shoot lasers from her eyes, it's not so unbelievable that she would dress provocatively.

Besides, she's a beautiful woman (as all comic book women are) and I, for one, enjoy feminine beauty. Does that mean I look at them as objects? Of course not. Does it mean that I enjoy looking at them? You bet.

Keep the costume exactly as is, I say.
