    I completely agree with the others that Major Force seems to come back from the dead more than most other DCU villians. I imagine its bad writing but then again who knows? In some ways its so bad its actually amusing.

Like in Blackest Night they claim he's in the JLA morgue while in other titles coming out at the same time he's up and running around alive and well? Bad editorial, not bad writing.

At the very least, you'd think DC would maintain a database of their characters for their writers and editors. Once done, it wouldn't take that long to keep it up to date on the current status of characters.

It's ridiculous really. I mean, they kill off Dr. Polaris and barely a couple of months pass someone else is using his name, the suit and has the exact same powers? It not only lessens the idea of "death" in comics but it lessens the character if they are that expendable and interchangeable. Of course, that's a big part of the current JSA and half the DCU these days anyway. Kill off original characters so to replace them with someone else.
