I've been gone from buying JSA for quick a while now. Well, every since JSA All Stars started up, I dropped the book.
But I picked up the latest issue, for two reasons.

1. The Challengers Of The Unknown. I loved the inclusion of them in the book. I'd love to see more of them.

2. This title is almost done before the relaunch in September so I want to see how it all ends.

What did you think of #52 though?

Assuming you mean the DCU relaunch as oppossed to a JSA one, as in the new DCU apparently there never was a JSA!

The following is what i gather to be the new status quo, based on what i've read on various news sites, it may be incorrect, as they appears to be a lot unknown and flat out contradicted by various reports...

With Superman now being set up as the first hero all the old golden age heroes now never existed!

If they want Superman as the first hero fine, but why not have him arrive in 1900 inspire the JSA then later the JLA and still be currently active? He's a n alien it's not like he has to age like a human.

DC could have Superman the first hero, the rest of us could keep the JSA!

There is one possible bright spot, that the JSA will be back on Earth two and exist there, but it won't be the current JSA i'm actually really enjoying reading about.

DC should have just introduced all this as a second 'Ulimate' universe and left the original one alone - It's what Marvel did and who has the biggest market share? Yep thus it would seem that approach works... best off both worlds!

Still thanks DC for cancelling all the books i read, bar one - which i'll have to try, but i'm not impressed by what little i've read about it so far, and offering up just two that i actually may pick up! \:\)
