I saw it coming when they announced the doll (Earth 2 Batman Thomas Wayne). But no, not before the leak. The storyline was done well. Don't know who Robinson had in mind. I am just tired of Batman. A comic world without a Batman...lovely. Now, Batman is their leader? *sigh*

I was weary of it too initially, but as things have developed it is clear that this isn't the Batman we were expecting. His morality is different, his agenda is suspect, in short he is not as predictable or safe as the Batman we are used to, and I find this an interesting route to follow. For instance after the developments in the Annual I don't see Thomas Wayne becoming the groups leader, they are following him for the moment but now that they know who he is and what he is I would be dumbfounded if whatever develops of a membership for the eventual JSA think this man would make a good leader, never mind a good friend...

Question, isn't Miraclo from Rex Tyler, not Rex Mason. They can do anything they want on Earth 2, but was just curious how it was in the original JSA.

Miraclo was indeed invented by Rex Tyler, it may be a deliberate name change in the Annual but then again they did name a very well renowned artist as one of the thugs in this book and had to correct it for the digital release, so Rex Mason might be another error - after all Rex Mason is actually the real name of metamorpho!

And I must add, I gave a thumbs up to the smartening of the women ( and the reader): a hard nose reported and a great detective WOULDd have figured out his real identity. Kudos for the respect.

I disagree. So far as I know Bruce Wayne's identity is still secret, but even if it wasn't what earthly reason would anyone, even Lois, have to think that Thomas Wayne was alive and capable of being the Batman?
