Is this close enough to being on-topic here?

What did people think?

I enjoyed the comic and its pulp posturing for the most part, although I think the storytelling was muddled (not that difficult to understand, but things could have been paced better).

I hated the lineup, which seemed so random to me, but that's a minor gripe.

I liked it at the same time as being annoyed with it. I hated how all of the characters were introduced. I hated how Vandal Savage's world was not described at all. Halfway through I was pretty much fed up with it, but reading it all in one sitting, it won me back over by the end. I liked how they powered the machine with Parallax's head. Chris Sprouse is amazing, and his depiction of Lady Blackhawk was a little bit Jennifer Connoly, a little bit Dita Von Teese, a little bit Katy Perry, and a whole lot delectable.
