They had a real problem though, as when the Spectre ever decided to be really shown, that would pretty much end the series, as he would make sure to judge all of the baddies...

And think NBC billed the last show as end of season one, not end of the series!



They had it scheduled for twenty-two episodes with a thirteen episode budget to start. NBC declined the last nine though not outright cancelling the show. Really the best chance will be to move it to SYFY where it could have a long run. I think Reverend Meteor has one thing pegged in that at this time it doesn't offer much that hasn't been used in the last decade. The irony being Constantine has probably been a huge influence on the genre. About the Spectre thing I don't want to spoil anything in case the series does get a go for another year. The source material will have a say in that department.
