    This is sort of nonsense one would expect of the 1990s, but more pertinetly this is exactly the sort of poor decision and obsession with shock 'events' that made the 2011 linewide reboot necessary - Cry for Justice. New Krypton. War of the Supermen. Countdown. Infinite Crisis. etc etc etc...


I agree. Moreover, due to the time gap (the fact that the original members are now in their 80s), and the fact that aside from Power Girl and the Huntress the new members of Infinity Inc were never really that interesting, I considered the loss of the old Earth-2 something of a mercy killing.

If someone wants to do a retro project, let it be a stand-alone. I think the refugees of the 'nu' Earth-2, as I posted below, ought to emigrate to the join the Society of Superheroes, and we can call it a day.
