Quote:the batman before and after latest reboot pretty much the same. correct?
As far as I am concerned yes. But DC Comics seems to think it a distinct other timeline.
Quote:And could there be the Pre COIE E1 Superman still out there, somewhere then?
This is an issue I have with the plot behind Convergence, Telos/Brainiac because of its location beyond time and space is able to access every single timeline and parallel universe DC ever had. Think on that. Brainiac from here was able to go out and ensnare specimen cities taken from before certain timelines were extinguished, by Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour, and Flashpoint.
What DC are saying then is that the universes and timelines of the Pre-Crisis earths are techically still accessible, if you have the right 'key' as in Telos' dimension. This rewrites all the previous rules and known facts as quite clearly the Crisis both destroyed those worlds and rewrote time so that they never existed - even Infinite Crisis did not suggest Earths 1 & 2 could ever be returned to in a fully literal sense, as those worlds ceased to exist. What Alexander Luthor was doing was not trying to go back in time and space but recreate. He recreated Earth-2 in the here and now... but it was a shell, an empty stage. The original Multiverse was irrecoverable.
Still, I don't see any sign of the original Earth-1 Superman showing up in the series, That Superman is one version DC seems adamantly reluctant to acknowledge in events like these.
