Not evicted no, I was drawing a parallel between his relatively short and successful run and those of Jeff Lemire on Green Arrow, and James Robinson on Earth-2. Among others.
DC have had very successful freelance writers over the last four or more years, but never make any effort to keep them in place. Quite the opposite...
The intellecual property comes before any creator getting too big and popular.
