It would be interesting to see something done with the Earth-2 cast once the series is finished I agree, my suspicion is that they will all be mothballed to make way for the Justice Society which was revealed in 'Rebirth', but what a shame it would be if we never saw some of these characters picked up elsewhere and developed further - Val-Zod is an obvious candidate certainly, but then again we already have Cal Kent of Earth-23 as a prominent alternate-Superman, why do we need Val?
At this point the Earth-2 story seems to have run its course. I wish it wasn't so, but this was a series that was run into the ground, and in a very deliberate fashion....
